Couples Therapy
Having a child and parenting young children can be stressful on a couple's relationship. With more demands on both partners and greater interdependence on each other, this period can often bring long-standing issues to a head, or create new tensions that were not present in the couple's life before having children. Sometimes, couples with young children are struggling over whether to stay together, how to separate, or how to co-parent children when separated or divorced. We work with couples who want to figure out how to parent together more successfully, who are concerned that their difficulties with each other may be impacting their children, or who are hoping to or trying to maintain a connection during this transition.
