Psychopharmacology

We provide psychiatric services to parents-to-be (those who are expecting or planning to conceive), and to parents with children 0-5 years old. Please note that these services are only available to clients who are actively receiving therapy at The Family Connections Center.

Our expert reproductive psychiatrist, Dr. Carolyn Broudy, provides consultations for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Making decisions about medication during this period can be complicated and potentially risky, so getting an evaluation and follow-up care from an experienced professional is essential. Dr. Broudy brings years of speciality training and experience to this care, assuring you get the proper information and advice you need to make the best decisions.

Depression and anxiety are not uncommon in fathers, non-biological parents, and other caregivers of infants and young children. Medication management services are available for any caregiver who is receiving therapy at the FCC.

We currently do not have a child psychiatrist on staff, and as such, are not able to offer medication management for children at this time.
